        SUPPLEMENTAL ORDER OF INVESTIGATION AND SUSPENSION

     The Board, by Order 77-8-20 of August 5, 1977, suspended and
instituted an investigation of increased excess valuation charges and
increased C.O.D. collection service minimum charge proposed by
Universal Air Freight, Inc.

     The suspension period of the proposed charges and provisions
will expire before the investigation of their lawfulness can be
concluded and final order made.

     Pursuant to authority duly delegated by the Board in the Board's
Regulations, 14 CFR 385.15, it is found that the proposed charges and
provisions should be suspended for an additional 90-day period.

     ACCORDINGLY, IT IS ORDERED THAT:

     1. The suspension period of the charges and provisions in
Rule No. 80(b) on 1st Revised Page 5 and Rule No. 100(c) on 1st
Revised Page 6 of C.A.B. No. 1, issued by Universal Air Freight, Inc.
is extended to and including February 3, 1978; and

     2. Copies of this order be filed with the tariff and served upon
Universal Air Freight, Inc.

     Persons entitled to petition the Board for review of this order
pursuant to the Board's Regulations, 14 CFR 385.50, may file such
petitions within ten days after the date of service of this order.
This order shall become effective immediately, and the filing of a
petition for review shall not stay the effectiveness hereof.
