COMMISSION AND NATIONAL
IMPLEMENTING AUTHORITIES UNDER
49 U.S.C. SECTION 41310:
The Department grants the request of United Air
Lines, Inc. for waiver of the statutory deadline in
Order to defer through January 25, 2000, the
period for taking action on its complaint in
Docket OST-98-4030, effective October 27,
1999.

LATIN AMERICAN SERVICE
SERVICE MAIL RATES
INVESTIGATION:
The Department proposes to establish new
International mail rates for the period from
January 1, 2000, through December 31, 2000.
The rates that are currently in effect were
established by Order 99-4-1, for the year ending
December 31, 1999. Those rates will remain in
effect as final rates through December 31, 1999,
or until a final order is issued with respect to
the rates proposed here, whichever is later.
