We approve and grant antitrust immunity to the
IATA agreements in Dockets 49709 and 49714.
The agreements increase passenger fares and
cargo rates from Hungary to points throughout
the world, including U.S. points, by ten percent
t to compensate for the devaluation of the
Hungarian forint. Served 8-26-94

We approve and grant antitrust immunity to the
IATA agreement in this docket which proposes
a number of revisions to fares and conditions
applicable to mid-Atlantic travel between points
in the Western Hemisphere, on the one hand,
and Europe and the Middle East on the other.
Changes in fares range from seven percent
reductions to 10 percent increases, with most
normal fares increasing three percent. The
agreement does not affect fares to or from any
U.S. points. Served 8-26-94

We approve and grant antitrust immunity to the
IATA agreement in this docket which adopts
various increases in cargo rates for application
throughout the world, except to and from the
United States and its territories. The increases
vary by country and geographic area, and are
expressed either in terms of an across-the
board percentage, ranging betweentwo and
ten percent, depending on the specific country
or geographic area involved, or in terms of a
flat per kilogram amount in local currency.
