            R-1 - R-2       agreement in Docket 48418 which revalidates, with
                            minor changes and for an additional year, the existing
                            U.S.-Europe fare structure approved by the Department
                            in Order 92-5-12, May 6, 1992. The changes include
                            cancellation of specified fares between Chicago and
                            Ireland, reflecting cessation of direct services;
                            new specified fare levels between Washington, D.C.,
                            and Switzerland, reflecting introduction of direct
                            services; and cancellation of transfer restrictions
                            on U.S.-Germany promotional fares. The agreement
                            proposes no increases or decreases to current fares.

92-12-24    48316           ESSENTIAL AIR SERVICE FOR GOLKARA, ALASKA:               12-21-92
                            The Department selects ELLIS AIR TAI to provide
                            essential air service at Gulkana, Alaska, for two
                            years, beginning on its inauguration of the proposed
                            service as described in the text of this order;
                            The Department sets the final rate of compensation for
                            ELLIS AIR TAXI for the provision of essential air service
                            at Gulkana, Alaska, for two years at $75,096
                            annually, as described in Appendix C, payable as
                            follows: for each calendar month during which
                            essential- air service is provided, the amount of
                            compensation shall be subject to the ceiling per week
                            of $1,444.25 and shall be determined by multiplying
                            the subsidy-eligible available seat-miles flown during
                            the month by $.5504;
                            The total estimated cost of this order for Gulkana,
                            Alaska, in fiscal year 1993 is $59,211; funds not
                            to exceed this amount are currently available. Subsidy
                            payments under this order for future fiscal years are
                            subject to the availability of funds. Served 12-29-92

92-12-25    48489           We approve and grant antitrust immunity to the IATA      12-21-92
                            agreement in Docket 48489 which brings the INTERNATIONAL
                            AIR TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION (IATA) and the AIR TRANSPORT
                            ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (ATA) procedures for showing
                            Passenger Facility Charges (PFCs) on tickets into
                            line with one another, and amends various fare basis,
                            tax and form of payment codes used in connection with
                            travel documents. Served 12-29-92
