92-1-52     47738           The Department prohibits TRANS STATES AIRLINES, d/b/a      1-30-92
            EAS-478         TRANS WORLD EXPRESS, from suspending service at Cape
                            Girardeau, Missouri, and requires it to maintain service
                            at the community, as set forth in Appendix E of Order
                            91-12-1, for an additional 30-day period, through March
                            2, 1992, or until a carrier that is capable of providing
                            reliable essential air service on a continuing basis
                            actually begins service, whichever occurs first. Served
                            2-6-92

92-1-53     47909          The Department amends the essential air service             1-30-92
            EAS-408        determination for Terre Haute, Indiana, to require
                           at least the level of service set forth in Appendix A
                           effective on the date of service of this order;
                           The Department requests carriers that are interested in
                           providing essential air service at Terre Haute, Indiana,
                           as discussed in the text of this order, to file proposals
                           with or without subsidy requests within 30 days after the
                           date of service of this order. Proposals must include
                           -the data required by 14 CFR 204.6 of the Department's
                           Regulations._ An original and five copies of the proposals

                           should be sent to: Service Compensation Division, P-54,
                           Office of Aviation Analysis, Room 6410, Department of
                           Transportation, 400 7th Street, S.W., Washington, D.C.
                           20590, with the title Proposal to Provide Essential
                           Air Service at Terre Haute, Indiana, Docket 47909;
                           The Department prohibits AMERICAN EAGLE d/b/a SIMMONS
                           AIRLINES, INC., from suspending service at Terre Haute,
                           Indiana, at the end of its 90-day notice period and
                           requires it to provide service, as set forth in footnote
                           5 (below), for an additional 30 days, through April 7,
                           1992, or until a carrier that is capable of providing
                           reliable essential air service on a continuing basis
                           actually begins service, whichever occurs first.

                           service at Hyannis, Massachusetts, and reqdlires it to
                           maintain service at the community, as set forth in
                           ordering paragraph 4 of Order 91-10-55 for an additional
                           30-day period, through March 7, 1992, or until a carrier
                           that is capable of providing reliable essential air
                           service on a continuing basis actually begins service,
                           whichever occurs first. 2-11-92
