billing and collection practices


                    ORDER AUTHORIZING DISCUSSIONS

     By petition filed December 20, 1967, the Air Freight Forwarders
Association (AFFA) on behalf of its 29 members-1/ requests an extension
until April 15, 1968 of their discussions of air freight credit, billing
and collection rules and practices previously authorized by the Board,.V
which expired with December 1, 1967. AFFA cites the recent order2/ of
the Board authorizing an extension of discussions among the direct air
carriers on the same subject and states that the matters to be discussed
are of concern to the forwarders in their role as customers of the
airlines.
