Under delegated authority, authorizes Pan American
World Airways to continue until May 31, 1963, suspen-
sion of service between Los Angeles/San Francisco and
Paris on its polar route flights,

Denies petition of United States Overseas Airlines
for reconsideration of order E-17822 and reargument
in an enforcement proceeding.

Under delegated authority, approves agreements CAB
12179, R-8, and CAB 14827, R-74 through R-79, adopted
by Traffic Conferences of IATA relating to fare and
rate matters.

Institutes Fort Wayne-Muncie Area Investigation,
docket 13391, to make determinations with respect to
necessity for certificated air carrier service in
specified portions of Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan,
and designation of proper air carrier; orders con-
solidations, and publication of this order in the
Federal Register.


Institutes Use It or Lose It investigation of
service by Frontier Airlines to certain points on
route 73, and investigation (docket 13395) of agree-
ment between Frontier and North Central Airlines for
transfer of certain route authority; orders consoli-
dations, and publication of this order in the Federal
Register.

Authorizes Trans World Airlines to continue suspen-
sion (E-14980) of service until March 3, 1964, at
Peoria, Ill., on route 2.

Under delegated authority, approves agreements CAB
16089 et al. involving members of Air Traffic Con-
ference oTAmerica and various other air carriers,
and carriers relating to intercarrier arrangements.

Order and opinion sever from Transatlantic Final Mail
Rate Case (docket 1706 et al.) that portion involving
mail compensation for American Overseas Airlines for
Jan. 1, 1946, through Sept. 25, 1950, and consolidate
it into Reopened Pan American Mail Rate Case (1946-
1954), docket 1706-A, and direct each of the parties
to show cause why the Board should not adopt specif-
ied findings and conclusions and fix final mail rates
