Rismisses applications of Mohawk Airlines for amend-
ment of its certificate for route No. 94.



Authorizes Trans World Airlines to inaugurate
nonstop service between Athens, Greece, and Basra,
Ira, on Nov. 2, 1956.

Denies petition of Chamber of Commerce of Kansas City
for leave to intervene in Great Lakes-Southeast
Service Case, but permits introduction of pertinent
evidence.

Grants AAXICO exemption for 1 year permitting it to
serve terminal point Newark, N.J.-New York, N.Y., on
its route No. 121.

Dismisses application of Hawaiian Airlines, Ltd.,
for an exemption concerning lease of a Convair 340.

Withholds from public disclosure an application of
Qantas Emoire Airways, Ltd., filed Oct. 24, 1956,
for a permit, until further order of the Board.

Permits Seaboard & Western Airlines to off-load
cargo at Milan, Italy, on its regular flight from
New York to Zurich on Nov. 8, 1956.

Authorizes Pan American World Airways to inaugurate
nonstop service between Istanbul, Turkey, and Teheran.
Iran, on Nov. 5, 1956.

Grants intervention in Great Lakes Local Service
Investigation by Eastern Air Lines, Northviest Air-
lines, United Air Lines, and numerous State and
civic organizations in Maryland. Lichigan, Ohio,
Indiana, and West Virginia.

Orders assignment for early hearing of application
of Trans-Texas Airways for amendment of its certifi-
cate for route No. 82.
