Closes docket and terminates investigation instituted
by Board order E-2485 to determine the need for the
additional joint use of facilities by 16 air carriers.

Opinion and order in the Havana-New York Forein -Air
Carrier Permit Case amend Conditions 2 and 3 of the
permit issued to Compania Cubana de Aviacion, S. A.,
by order E-5610, and order that an amended permit be
issued to Cubana at such time as the Board rescinds
the stay of its present Havana-4!ew York permit imposed
by Board order E-5995. Approved by the President
10-14-52.

Opinion and order fix and determine final mail rate
to be paid Pan American-Grace Airways, on and after
Jan 7, 1947, over its entire system.

Institutes an investigation to make stated determina-
tions with respect to establishment of through service
by equipment interchange between Houston, Texas, and
Miami, Fla., by Eastern Air Lines and National Air-
lines via New Orleans, La., and consolidates in the
Southern Service to the West Case; amends Board order
E-6499 with respect to the application (Docket 2148)
of Eastern Air Lines insofar as it involves amendment
of its certificate to authorze trans-Gulf operations
between Miami and Tampa, and Houston, solely for the
operation of through interchange flights in conjunc-
tion with Braniff lirAys, and Trans World Airlines.

Approves agreements involving United Air Lines,
Western Air Lines, various other air carriers, and
other carriers, relating to intercompany arrangements.


Amends permit of Compania Cubana de Aviacion, S. A.,
so as to designate Varadero, Cuba, as an intermediate
point between Havana and Eiami. Approved by the
President 10-14-52.

Approves, subject to stated provisions, changes in the
Approved Service Plan - Foreign Air Transportation of
Pan American World Airways (E-6560), with respect to
service to Glasgow, Scotland, and points in Germany.
Rescinds Board order E-6561.
