                                     ARIZONA WATER SETTLEMENTS ACT





                         NOVEMBER 20, 2004.-Committed to the Committee of the Whole House on the

                                  Mr. POMBO, from the Committee on Resources,

                                               submitted the following

                         The Committee on Resources, to whom was referred the bill
                       (H.R. 885) to provide for adjustments to the Central Arizona
                       Project in Arizona, to authorize the Gila River Indian Community
                       water rights settlement, to reauthorize and amend the Southern
                       Arizona Water Rights Settlement Act of 1982, and for other pur-
                       poses, having considered the same, report favorably thereon with
                       an amendment and recommend that the bill as amended do pass.
                         The amendment is as follows:
                         Strike all after the enacting clause and insert the following:

                       SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; TABLE OF CONTENTS.
                         (a) SHORT TITLE.-This Act may be cited as the Arizona Water Settlements Act.
                         (b) TABLE OF CONTENTS.-The table of contents of this Act is as follows:
