  SiR: I have the honor to transmit herewith the annual report of the
Maryland and Washington  Railway Company.
  This is in compliance with requirements of section 10 of the act
approved June 10, 1896, entitled An act to extend the routes of the
Eckington and Soldiers' Home Railway Company and the Belt Railway
Company  of the District of Columbia, and for other purposes.
