Mr. CANNoN, from  the Committee on Appropriations, submitted the
                          following

                       REPORT.
                   [To accompany H. J. Res. 235.]

  The Committee on Appropriations, to whom was referred the joint
resolution (H. J. Res. 235) authorizing the exhibit of Government
relics at the New York Printing Exposition, from May 2 to June 2,
1900, beg leave to submit the following report, and recommend that
said joint resolution do pass with amendments as follows:
  On page 1, in line 4, and on page 2, in lines 2, 11, and 15, strike out
the words and directed and insert in lieu thereof the words  in his
discretion.
