PURSUANT  TO SECTION 1 OF THE RIVER AND HARBOR  ACT  AP-
  PROVED  JANUARY  21, 1927, A. LETTER FROM THE CHIEF OF
  ENGINEERS, UNITED STATES ARMY, DATED DECEMBER  15, 1933,
  SUBMITTING  A REPORT,  TOGETHER  WITH  ACCOMPANYING
  PAPERS AND ILLUSTRATIONS, ON SNAKE RIVER AND TRIBUTA-
  RIES, FOR THE PURPOSES  OF NAVIGATION  AND  EFFICIENT
  DEVELOPMENT   OF  ITS WATER  POWER,  THE  CONTROL  OF
  FLOODS, AND THE NEEDS OF IRRIGATION.


JANUARY 3, 1934.-Referred to the Committee on Rivers and Harbors and
            ordered to be printed with eight illustrations

  DEAR MR.  SPEAKER: I am transmitting herewith a report dated
December 15, 1933, from the Chief of Engineers, United States Army,
on Snake River and tributaries, made under the provisions of House
Document No. 308, Sixty-ninth Congress, first session, which was
enacted into law, with modifications, in section 1 of the River and
Harbor Act approved January 21, 1927, together with accompanying
papers and illustrations.
