   SIR: I send, enclosed herewith, a report, prepared in pursuance of
an act of Congress approved on the 2d July, 1836, entitled  An act for
the relief of William B. Stokes, Richard C. Stockton, Lucius W. Stock-
ton, and Daniel Moore, to be laid before Congress; and
           Have the honor to be, with great respect, sir,

Report of the Solicitor of the Treasury on the claims of Richard C.
      Stockton and others, under the act of the 2d of July, 1836.
  NOTE.--The documents referred to in the within report have been sent with a corre-
sponding report to the Senate.
                 OFFICE OF THE SOLICITOR OF THE TREASURY,

  In obedience to the act entitled  An act for the relief of William B.
Stokes, Richard C. Stockton, Lucius W. Stockton, and Daniel Moore,
I have the honor to submit to Congress the following report:
  By the act referred to, it is enacted  that the Solicitor of the Treasury
be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to settle and adjust the claims
Thomas Allen, print.
