Mr. S ii e RI F F7,
Expe25ted the Nolfe would be fuch, that
I could not be very well heard : I was
never fond of much fpcaking, much lefs
now'; Therefore I have fet down in this
Paper, all that I think fit to leave behind me.
God knows how far I was always from De-
figns again It the King's Perfon, or of altering
the Government and I fil pray for the Pre-
fervation of both, and of the Proteftant Re-
ligion.
I am told, that Captain 1alcor has faid
fome things concerning my knowledg of the
Plot: I know not whether the Report is
true, or not 3 1 hope it is not : For to my
knowled,-, I never faw him, or fpake with
him in my whole Life . and in the Words of
a dying :dan, I profefs I know of no Plot, ei-
ther agaain the King's Life, or the Govern-
ment. But I have now done with this World,
and am ging to a better. I forgive all the
World, ai-d I thank God I die in Charity
with all Men ; and I wiFi all lincere Prote-
ftants may lovc one another, end not make
way for Popery by their Animofities.

T Thank God, I find my felt fo compofed
and prepared for Death, and my Thoughts
fo fixed on another World, that I hope in
God, I am now quite weaned from fetting
my Heart on this. Yet I cannot forbear
fpending fome time now, in fetting down
in Writing a fuller Account of my Con-
dition, to be left behind me, than I '11
venture to fay at the Place of Execution, in
te Nolfe and Clutter that is like to be there.
I blefs God heartily for thofe inany Llejlings,
which he in his i nfnite Mercy has beflowed
upon me, through the whole Courfe of my
Life: That I was born of worthy good Pa-
rents, and had the Advantages of a religi-
ous Education ; -which I have often thank'd
God very heartily for, and look'd upon as an
invaluabie Blefling : For even when I minded
it leaft, it ill hung about me, and gave me
checks, and has now for n-n; Years fo influ-
enced and polife!Td me, that I feel the happy
Efd-s of it in this my Ectremity, in which
