IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF BUFFALO.
In the (defeated) Suit, by
SHERMAN          &  BARNES, (Merchants,) Plaintiffs,
AGAINST
LEGRAND MARVIN, (Lawyer,) Defendant.
A1 frustrated attempt to render the defendant liable, for unauthorized purchases-in his
name, by his wife: after she had avowed (substantially,) he was not to be consulted, as to
aby purchases she deemed, according to her position in society : that he would have tc
pay therefor, and he could not help himself (Other like defiances, p. 24, 25 ; 76 to 84 J
Including the case, (proofs, hurriedly written, at the trial, by the presiding Judge, and
by him, unamended,) settled, (with concurrent notes thereunder, (p. 32-54 )
Also, Expose (No. 2,) of G. L. Marvin's Contesting
his late mother, Sarah L. Marvin's, will:
1. PROBATED (without false swearing or conflicting proofs,) by the Erie County Surro-
gate, March 8, 1S64, (p. 120-124,) prior to got up outside influences, (falsities,) to bias
Courts;
2. On its a peal to the Supreme Court, General Te,'m,-and (after outside influences
wfre got up, divided? to be snt to a jury,-yet to be trud, (p. 124-.)
Also, a Cognate Expose of George L. Marvin's 2d
Conteding-said Will, (under Act of 1853,) by his suit in the upreme Court,-(affecting
only his mother's lands,)-against h.r legatees, and executor; therein, is his believed
premeditated, false swearing. Proceedings therein r infra, (p. 125-126.)
