The Answer of DAVID FAUST, one of the Defendants, to the Interrogatories filed in the above case, required to be answered by him: This defendant, now and at all times hereafter, saving and reserving unto himself all benefit and advantage of excep- tion which can or may be had to the many errors, uncer- tainties, and other imperfections in the said complainants, said bill of complaint contained, for answer thereunto or unto so much and such parts thereof as this defendant is advised, is or are material and necessary for him to make answer unto, this defendant answering, saith: 1. I am the President of the Union National Bank; have been its President since January 12, 1865, and was Presi- dent pro tern. from December 23, 1864, to January 12, 1865.
