Between WATSON MALONE, EDMUND DEACON and EDWARD WETHERILL, all of the City of Philadelphia, on behalf of themselves and such other stockholders of the North Branch Canal Company, having like ground of complaint, as may, contributing to the expenses of this suit, be permitted to become parties hereto, Plaintiffs, and THE NORTH BRANCH CANAL COMPANY, a body politic and corporate in the law, and CHARLES F. WELLS, JR., of Athens, Pennsylvania, President, GEORGE M. HOLLEN- BACK, of Wilkesbarre, Pennsylvania, JOHN ARNOT, of Elmira, New York, and MAHLON C. MERCUR, of To- wanda Pennsylvania, Manager of the said corporation, Defendants. To the Honorable the Judges of the said Court: Your orators -complain and say: I. That at the time of the commission of the acts herein- after complained of, the plaintiffs were and still are stock- holders in the North Branch Canal Company, defendants herein, as follows: Complainant WATSON MALONE owning, in connection with Robert F. Taylor, six hundred and fifty shares of the stock of said corporation, and now owning the same ex- clusively, having purchased to himself all the right and interest of said Robert F. Taylor therein.
