VICTORIA, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Queen, Writ of
Defender of the Faith, and so forth, to our very trusty and well belovedEDwARD PENNEFATH ER, Error.
our Chief Justice assigned to hold Pleas in our Court before us at Dublin, in our Kingdom of
Ireland, GREETING: Forasmuch as that upon a certain Indictment for a certain Conspiracy
against Daniel O'Connell, late of Merrion Square, in the county of the city of Dublin, Esquire,
found in our said Court before us at Dublin aforesaid, Judgment was given for us against the
said Daniel O'Connell by our said Court; and forasmuch as that by reason of Error happening
we caused Judgment to be again examined by our said Court: WHEREUPON the said Judgment
so given was by our said Court affirmed; and forasmuch as in the Record and Proceedings on
our said Indictment, and the giving of the said Judgment, and also in the Record and Pro-
ceedings of the said affirmance of the same Judgment, manifest Errors it is said have intervened,
to the great damage of the said Daniel O'Connell : We, being willing that the said Errors, if
any there be, should be duly corrected, and full and speedy justice done in that behalf, do
command you, that if Judgment thereon be given and affirmed as aforesaid, then that you
distinctly and plainly send, under your Seal, the Record and Proceedings aforesaid, with
all things touching the same, and this Writ, to us in our present Parliament now holden at
Westminster, in the county of Middlesex, in that part of the United Kingdom called England,
that the Record and Proceedings aforesaid being inspected, we may further cause to be done
