Gamble, of the city of Philadelphia, respectfully showeth : That your petitioner was, on the 15th day of May, 1861, at the city aforesaid, lawfully joined in marriage with Martha S. Hancock, his present wife, and from that time lived and co- habited with her until the commission by her of the adultery hereinafter set forth became known to your petitioner, and that during this time he did in all respects demean himself as a kind (1)
