MONATY OF THE CITY OF NEW
YORK.
This is an action brought by the plaintiff to recover com-
pensation for work, labor and services rendered by him to the.
defendants, as an architect, in drawing, preparing and making
certain designs, plans, elevations, sections, specifications and
full sized working drawings, for the building and erection of a
market in said city, on the site and place at that time and now
occupied by the market known as Washington Market.
The defendants duly answered the complaint joining issue 2
on all the material allegations therein contained.
