FACTS.
Abraham Dawson, an Englishman, immigrated to
the State of New York in 1834 (fol. 9), where he
resided until his death, in January, 1872 (fols. 9,
10). He declared his intentions to becomea citizen
of the United States in 1837 (fol. 9), and received
a paler purporting to naturalize him, in 1843, from
the surrogate of Tompkins (Cmnt> (fol. 10). Akt
his death lie left a will and codicil, devising certain
real estate, described in the answer herein (f(4s. 5
and 6) to his daughter, the plaintiff herein, subject
to certain conditions therein expressed (fols. 5 and
di. He acquired this real estate in 1864 (fol. 13).
