the Fir#I and Second, The faids Lords Do hereby Auhorize the faid BOOK
of 0 B S E R V A T I0 N S to be Printed :And further, Grants Or-
der and Warrandto His Majeftiesfaid Advocat, his fHeirs, Executors, or
Afsigneys, For the Sole and only Priting, or Re-printing of the fame, or
vending thereif , during the fpace of nineteen Years, after the Date of thefe
Prefents ; Difcharging hereby all Perfons whatomever , during the [aid
fpace, to Print, Re-print, Import, or Vend any of the /aids BO C KS of
O B S E R V A T I 0 N S Without Licence from the aforefaids, under
the pain of confrfcation thereo to them, or either of them, bejfdes being
further punifbed as the Council thaf think fit, in cafe of Contravention.  Ex-

forefaid A6tof Council, and all the Claufes therein-contained, in Fa-
vours of Thornas Brown Stationer in Edinburgh , his Heirs and Afligneys,
with power to him and his forefaids, to Do and AS by vertue thereof in all
Points, as fully and freely as I might ehave done try felf, before.the ma-
king hereof.  As witnefs thefe Prefents, fubfcribed by me at Ediburgh,
the 13 day of November 1686.
