Pafl d by the Legiflature ofthe State ofVermont,
At their fefflion at Cafleton, the fecond Thurfday of Oa6ober,
1 7 9 0.

An A& direaing the mode of filling up Vacancies which may happen
in certain Offices therein aentioned.
I is hereby enafled by the General Afembly of the State of Vermont, That
whenever a vacancy thall happen by death or otherwife, in the office
of Governor, Lieutenant-Governor, or in the Council, fuch vacancy
fball be filled by the joint ballot of the Governor, Council, and Houfe
of Reprefentatives.
An Ad, to repeal certain parts of an A&, entirled, An AU for eftabl/h-
ing Pofl. Offices within this State.
T is hereby enaRted by the General Ajfenbly of the State of Vermont, That
J that part of an A61, entitled,  An A61 for eflablifhing Pot-Offices
within this State, which provides for an allowance to Poft-Riders by
the mile, be and hereby is repealed.
