CHA P. I. An A6Ifor further continuing the AV intituled An A5 for amending the Staple of 7obacco, and for preventing Frauds in his Majefy's Gujfons. (a) W RHE RE A S the Ad of the General Affembly paffed in the fifth Year of . his prefent Majefty's Reign, intituled An Afor amending the Staple of Tobacco, and for prpwnting Frauds in his Majefly's Cuoms, and which was continued and amended by another Aa, made in the feventh Year of his faid Majefty's Reign, will expire on the firff Day of OIober one Thoufand feven Hundred and fixty nine, and it is neceffary and expedient that the faid Aas thould be further continued: Be it therefore enaded, by the Prefdent, Council, and Burgees, of this prefent General Aembly, and it is hereby enatled, by the Authority of the fame, that the faid recited Aas thall continue and be in Force, from and after the faid firft Day of Odlober one Thoufand feven Hundred and fixty nine, for and during the Term of two Years, and no longer. CH A P. II. An AV for further continuing and amending the A5 intituled An AU for the better regulating and colle6ing certain Ofcers Feer and for other Purfoes therein mentioned.
