E itoenacted by thw honorable the Senate and Hoiuse oepesentativ'e., nJow met and sitting in gener al as- sunbly, and byj the autorit of the same, That thc presi- (lent of the senate and speake r ofthe house of representa- tives respectively, be, and they are hereby authorized and required to sign, in behalf of the members in either house respectively, bills or warrants for their usual pay allowed to the members of the legislature, and the solicitors for their attendance at the present session; and that the treasurers he and they are hereby authorized and directed to receive the aforesaid drafts in payment of taxes, or to pay the same ot of the inapproprinted monies in the treasury.
