Controverfies have arifen concerning the
Boundaries or Line of Partition between
that Part of this Province of Nezv-'erfey, now coimimonly
called and known by the Name of the I1 fler-Diegfon of Rheuni ra
the Province of Newv-7rfy, and that part of faid Provinde of the Line be
-  tween Eaft and
now commonly called and known by the Name of the EaI. Wfa Yerty o6,
ern-Dlifivion of the Province of New-'fr7rfey, which have pro- fu sh e-
ved a grcat Obftrudion to the Settlement arid Improvement
of the faid Province, and will, if they continue,, prove a
very great Hindrance to the further Settling and Improve-
ing thereof, and of dangerous Confequence to the Peace and
Tranquility of the Government and Inhabitants of the fame.
