CHAP. II.
AX, ACT to alter the name of the town of New-Holder- Psed Tea
ness to the name of Holderness.                   12,n.
HV[EREAS the inhabitants of the town of New-
]Uolderness, in the the county of Grafton, at their an-
nual meeting in March last. by their voto expressed a
vish that the name of said town may be altered to the
name of H1olderness; Thereforej
BE it enacted by the senate and house of representa-
tives in general court courened. That the name of
said New-fHolderness be alered, and that said town
be hereafter called and known i3 the name of' Holder-
ness; any law or usage to the contrary notwithstand.
