lisburv, in Somerset and Worcester counties.

: 7THERlEAS it is represented to this general assembly, that sundry persons in the town of Prcanble.
V..V  Salisbury, in Somerset and Worcester counties, do raise and keep a great number of swine,
tind suffer themr, to go and re'iain at large within the said town, to the great injury of the inhabi.
, ants there6f; therefore,
'I. BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of. .,atyland That after the end of this ses- Swine not to-
sion, it shall not be lawful for any) person or pqrsons 'Wh atsoever, inhabitants of Salisbury, or the g lrgej&,
inhabitants or proprietors of small lots of ground containing less than ten acres of land, lying
an being within one .half of a umile from said town, to raise or keep any svi'ine within said town,
or within one half of a mile of said town, except in enclboures,.,or to suffer any swine to go and
remain at large within said town, or within one half of a mil  of said town ; and if any swine be-
longing to the inhabitants of said town, or inhabitants or proprietors of lots as aforesaid, shall be
found going and renuamatla at large within said town, or within h.klf of a mile of said town, it
