PASSED AT THE SESSION BEGUN AND HELD AT BOSTON,
ON THE NINETEENTH DAY OF JULY, A.D. 1710.
CHAPTER 57.
ORDER ADJOURNING ALL HEARINGS.
R  d   the   Ordered, That all Hearings and other matters put over and continued
Council,.,s,,57. from the last Session of this Court, to have day in this present Session,
Aives,      be further Adjoun aed and continued unto the next Session for the Ordi-
xlviiu.,417.  nary Occasions of the Province; To be attended and proceeded in on
the same day of the weeke and of the Session whereto they respectively
now stand. [Passed July 22.
CHAPTER 58.
COMM'rE5E REPORT CONCERNING STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN THE EXPE-
DITION.,
Legislative   YE COIRITTEE in answer to ye aboves' Order' having Waited upon

Council, ix., 59. ye Honble Coll Nicholson received this answer from him. That if we
Aives,      should raise ye Same number of men we did ye Last year with Suffi-
lxxi., 648.  cient Transports & provisions for two months is what answers her
Post, chap. 67. Majesties demands from us at present. And The Comittee are here-

Records oethe upon humbly of Opinion, That y same number of men be raised in
Council, ix., 58. this Province as was the Last year & on ye same termes, that Suit-
able provision be raised for that number for two months & a sufficient
number of Transports be Speedily Secured for ye Same.

As to the Number of Men, That It Exceed not Nine-Hundred (in-
cluding both English, & Indians) besides Commission Officers.
And as to the Terms.
That the Commission Officers, Sent by Her Majesty's especiall
Favour, from Great Britain, to Serve in the present Expedition, be
