fkel. J7an. 7, 1795.
R.ESOLVED, That there be'ollowed and paid out of the Treafury of this Common.
wealth,.tq YacoO Kuh?, OT4frenger Of the General Court, the forn of -ffieen pound:, to enable hint
to purchafe fuel, &c. for the ufe of faid Court; he to be accountable for the expenditure of the
fame.
Refolve on the petition of Aica/i Ralph, empowering him to fell the Land mentioned, with the
confent of the Sele/tmen of'he town of q Ebam.  an. 2, 1795
On the petition of Micah Ralph, Indian man, praying for liberty to fell the Land hereafter
defcribed :
Refolvrd, That the faid A1ica, (with the confent of the Seleamen of the town of Eaftham, he,
and he hereby is empowered to fell a ,piece of Land, cqntaining about twenty pcres, belon ging
to the indians, called the Poto, ncut .tribe, lying in th.os town of k:afl',H, aforefaid, bopnded we -
terly by Cbtlam Road, (fo called ;) foutherly by a way that leads from faid road, to 7ofliua Ro-
gerx's iwelling-houfes .t Acrly, by the L nd of the wi.ow Elizabeth Rogerr, and others ; and on
the northerly part, by the Land of Sarab Roger:. And the (aid Micah is hereby authorized and
empowdred to makel and execute a lawful Deg. or Deeds of the'aforpfaid Land, to the purchafer
or puriihkfers thereof ; the money arifing by fuch fale,to be paid 4y the putcbafers into the hands
of the Selenmen aforefaid ; who are hereby  empowcled and diteaed to pai unto the aid A 'icab
five pounds, fourJbillings and ten pence, to fatisfy his account exhibited for his fervices, done for the
tribe aforeaid ; asd alfo to pay him his reafonable expence for felling faid Land ; the overplus,
if any, the SeleCmen aforefaid are hereby direed to pay into the I'reafury of the laid town ;
to be applied folely to the fupport of fuch poor Indian or Indians, belonging to the Laid tribe, aS
Laid Selemcin, for the time being, (hall think fland in need thereof.

On the petition of 8amuel Houfi, of Pembrpk , praying that he may be allowed foic -compenfa-
tion for the fupport jof an Indian child :  ' .  I .   ..
Refolved, That the prayer of raid petition be fo far granted, that the Committee on Accounts
be, and they are hereby empowered and direated to examine faid Samuel' accounts, and allow
hin. what may appear to them reafonable and juft thereon.
