Chap. 621.     AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE DIVISION OF CAPI-
               TAL PLANNING AND OPERATIONS TO CONVEY A
               CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND TO THE CITY OF
               QUINCY.

Be it enacted, etc., as follows:

  The deputy commissioner of capital planning and operations, on
behalf of the commonwealth, is hereby authorized to convey by a
deed, approved as to form by the attorney general, with quitclaim
covenants to the city of Quincy for nominal consideration the
land in said Quincy, now under the control of the department of
education, and is bounded and described as follows:-
  Beginning at a point at the southeasterly corner of Calvin
Road, thence running in a southerly direction 60 feet, by land
of City of Quincy to a concrete bound, thence turning and
running S. 65' - 46' - 00 E., by land of City of Quincy, 945±
feet to the center line of Pine Creek, thence running by various
courses and distances as shown on plan filed herewith by said
Pine Creek, Town River, Turning Basin and Town River, all as
shown on said plan to a point on the center line of Town River,
thence turning and running southeast by a curve with a radius
of 506.24 feet by Town River and land of City of Quincy, about
200± feet to a point thence turning and running northeast by
land of City of Quincy, about 40.0 feet to a point, thence turn-
ing and running N. 670 - 11' - 30.E., by other land of Massa-
chusetts Electric Company about 475.0± feet to a point, thence
turning and running N. 22' - 48' - 30 W., about 1364.43 feet
by other land of Massachusetts Electric Company, thence turning
and running N. 56' - 39' - 00 E., by land of Alfred A. Keith
and land of the Massachusetts Electric Company, 128.56 feet to
land of Mildred Silbovitz; thence running N. 76' - 13' - 20 E.,
by land of Mildred Silbovitz, land of Dorothy M. and Mabel
Schofield, land of Albert Davis et ux, land of John Santagate et
ux and land of Emilio G. Mancini et ux, 250.65 feet to the
westerly line of a Private Way; thence running N. 71' - 04' - 30
E., by said Private Way 40.01 feet to a concrete bound; thence
running N. 590 - 51' - 40 E., by land of Rhoda A. Mosesso,
184.54 feet to a stone bound at land of the Roman Catholic
Archbishop of Boston, thence running N. 590 - 51' - 40 E., by
land of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Boston, 14.26 feet to a
stone bound, thence running S. 77' - 08' - 00 E., by land of
the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Boston 246.60 feet to a stone
bound at land of Albert F. Hermes, thence running S. 770 - 08' -
00 E., by land of Albert F Hermes, land of Peter A. Marinaites
et ux, land of Mary Tosches and land of S. Pattavina & Sons,
Inc., 403.69 feet to a concrete bound; thence running S. 120 -
