No. 1.]                    AN ACT
Appropriating the sum of two hundred and fifty thousand ($250,000) dollars for
the payment of members, officers, employes and contingent expenses of the
General Assembly of the State of Louisiana.
SPcTrON 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Bepresentatives
of the Slate qf Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That the. Appr
sum of two hundred and fifty thousand ($250,000) dollars, or so payable.
much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appro-
priated out of any moneys now in the treasury or the first money
hereafter paid into the treasury to the credit of the general fund, to.
pay the mileage and per diem of members of the Senate and House
of Representatives, and to pay the officers and employes and con-
tingent expenses of both Houses of the General Assembly; the war-
trants to be registered in the office of the State Tr6asurer and paid
in accordance with date of registry.
SEa. 2. Be it further enacted, etc., That this not shall take effect
fram and after its passage.
