An Apt in addition to and alteration of an Act
entitled v An Act for forming and conduct,
ing the mnilitary force cf this State.
E1) B it enacted by the Governour and Council
§  3 and House of Representatives in General
Court assembled, That so much of the Act to Partial repeal,
which this is in '.ddition, as requires the regiment-
al staff to be taken from the line of subalterns, and
the line of sergeants, be and the same is hereby
repealed.
§ 2. Be it further enacted, That in future the Length of sa-
sabres for the cavalry, shall not be less than three bres.

§ 3. Be it further enacted, That each non-corn- lorse.

artillery and cavalry, shall provide himself with a
good sufficient horse, of the size required by law ;--
and that so much of the act of which this is an ad-
dition, requiring that he shall be the owner of the Partial repeal.
