empowered, from time to dime, as publiv.convenience may
require, to designate and fix the width, course, height and
level of side-walks, in and upon the slreets and highways

§ 2. And be it further enacted. That fdr the purpose of may compel
rendering such side-walks convLnient, said Court of Corn- ownerg of

rnay limit such time as they may deem reasonable for time.
