Affembly bf the State of CONNECTICUT,
in America, holden at New-Haven, in
faid State on the fecond              ihurfday of Oc-
tober, Anno Dom. 1784.
An A& for levying and colle&ing Duties on the Im-
portation of certain Articles, and for appropriating
the fame.
E it enat~ed by the Governor, Council, and Reprefentatives in Ge-
neral Court affembled, ..&d by the Authority of the fame, That
from and after the firif Day of January next, there ihall be paid Duty of two
