CnAr. 350.-An ACT concerning Nathaniel Poindexter of the county of

1, Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the auditor of pub- Tax refonded to

legal representatives, for the sum of fiftcen dollars, being an excess
of tax on tavern licenses.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.              Comnencement.
CitAP. 351.-An ACT releasing to Washington Skelton a certain fine imposed
by the circuit superior court of law and chancery for King and Queen
counoty.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the fine of thirty ,ine released to
dollars, imposed upon Washington Skelton by the circuit serior Washlngton

the ninth day of November, eighteen hundred and forty-eight, for
retailing spirituous liquors, to be drunk at the place where sold,
without a license, shall be and the same is hereby remitted, and the
said Skelton forever discharged and released from the payment
thereof: Provided however, That before said Skelton shall be en-
titled to the benefit of this act, lie shall first pay the costs incident to
the prosecution for said fine.
2. This act shall be in force from the passage thereof.      Commencement.
CitAP. 352.-An ACT authorizing the payment of a sum of money to Thomas
Vright, of tihe town of Fredericksburg.

offredericksburg, for the sun of eight dollars, being the amount of
expenses inerred by hit in attending before the mayor's court in
the City of ltichmond, as a witness for the commonwealth against
John Williamson, alias Joint W. North, charged with felony.

CHAP. 35.-An ACT for the relief of Wilson Anderson.

CHAP. 354.-An ACT allowing Joseph Alexander, a free man of colour, to
remain in the commonwealth.
