CHAP. .110.-An ACT to permit Robert Walsh, and the heirs of Anna M.
Walsh, to pay taxes on certain lands.
[Passed March 1.1, 18.19.]
1. Be it enacted by the general assemblyq, That whenever Robert Txes on landr
Walsh, anti the heirs of Anna M. Walsh, shall furnish the auditor o-A,.  11jrt ov
public accounts with a statement of the lands upon which they desire paid.
to pay the taxes, the said auditor shall enter the same upon the books
of the commissioners of the revenue for the counties in which the
lands lie, charged wih such taxes as he shall deein just and equitable;
and when the amount so charge(], shall have been paid to the auditor
of public accounts, who is hereby authorized to receive the same,
the said payment shall be a full discharge of all taxes and damages
due upon the said lands. And the period of three years, from the Time for entry
date of this act, is hereby allowed to have the said lands entered, and ( onalont,.

the coinmonweath, whose titles are protected by existing statutles,
shall tiot be affected hy the second section of this act, but the parties
shall be left to the strength of their respective titles, as though the
same had not been passed.

Whereas it is represented to the general assembly that Martha 1reainbio.
Waits, of the county of Campbell, is possessed of a large number of
slaves, without any land upon which to keep antI maitaiii them, aid

said committee are desirous of some mode by which the character of
the property of the said Martha Vatts may be changed, so that they
may be enabled better to preserve and protect it: Therelore,
