of the Literary fund, a statement exhibiting the number of schools in
the county, the price paid for tuition, the branches of learning taught,
the number of children instructed in said schools, and generally the
value and operation of the system,
Repealing clause. 17. Be it further enacted, That the act passed on the twenty-fifth
day of February eighteen hundred and forty-six, entitled an act to
establish district frec schools in the counties of Lancaster, West-
moreland, Richmond, Prince William, Loudoun, Fairfax, and certain
other counties therein mentioned, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed so far as said act embraced the counties of Frederick and
Jefferson.
Coumencenlent. 18. This act shall be in force from its passing.
CHAP. 33.-An ACT to amend for the counties of Loudoun, Fairfax and Ka-
nawha, the act for the establishment of district free schools, passed Febru-
ary 25th, 1846.

sioners determine all diff'rences that may arise between teachers and
parents or scholars.
