pursuance and in satisfaction of the judgment aforesaid, deducting
from the amount the sum received by the appellant, administrator
as aforesaid, or any person for him, or in any manner, on account
of the said claim from the treasury of the United States, under the
act of congress passed in July, eighteen hundred and thirty-two, or
otherwise on account of the same service: Provided, however, Pro.ico.
That the interest upon the principal sum in said judgment shall
cease and determine on the day of tile passage of this act,: And
p)rovided moreover, That the warrant hereby authorized shall not
be issued until the auditor of public accounts, acting under the
adlvice of the attorney general, shall be satisfied that the common-
wealth is not entitled, in law or equity, to any set-off against the
said judgment, recovered as aforesaid. And any set-off or claim
whatsoever, duly ascertained and estabished, shall be deducted by
said auditor from the amount of, or balance due on said judgment;
and thereupon the warrant of said auditor shall issue for the
balance.
2. This act shall be in force from the passing thereof.    Com.n,,prnent.

convicted before a justice of the peace for the said county, of keep-
ing or carrying any firelock of any kind, or any powder or lead,
he shall fbrfeit all such arms and ammunition to the use of the in-
