Whereas it appears to the general assembly, that Lewis Smith and Emeline his wife, are possessed of a life .estate in certain personal property consisting of slaves, held by right of dower of the said Emeline, in the estate of her fi manr husband Thomas It. Campbell, reversion to Hugh Campbell and Olivia Campbell, children of the said Thomas It. Campbell and the said Emeline; that the said Lewis Smith and Emeline his wife, who are about re- moving to the state of Mississippi, are desirous of taking with them the slaves so held by them, and it appearing that Hugh Campbell, senior, the grandfather and gnardian of tie said children, is uni- ting in the application of the said Lewis Smith and wife fbr per- mission to carry the slaves so by them held beyond the limits of this commonwealth: Therefore, Authority o I.
