at public sale, on a credit not exceeding one year, the whole or any
number of the slaves of Marianna Boilling of Petersburg, who is a
lunatic, requiring bond with suflicient surety, or approved endorsed
negotiable notes for the purchase money ; and it shall be the duty ofitePort to court.
