heirs of William Jones to any portion of the stun hereby di'rected
to be paid before lie shall be entitled to receive the same.

CHAt'. 210.-An ACT to change the name of Mary Jane Land to Mary Jane
Smith.

Mary Jana nd',  1. Be it cnactcd by the general assembly, That lienceforth Mary
name changed. Jane Land of the county of Nansemond shall have and bear the
name of Mary Jane Smith, by which latter name alone, she shall
be called an(d known, its well in the courts of justice as without, and
also shall by the said latter name be capable or inheriting any estate,
real or personal, in the same manner as if her name had not beeni
changed.
Commencement.  2. This act shall commence and be in force from the passage
thereof.
CHlAP. 211.-An ACT divorcing Ann Kellum from her husband Benjamin
Kellum.

Ann Kellum di-  1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
,uiced.     marriage heretofore solemnized between Ann Kellum, formerly Anti.
Bray, and Benjamin Kellum, shall be, and the sanme is hereby dis-
solved, the said Ann forever divorced from her husband the said
Benjamin, and the power and authority of the said Benjainin over
the person and property of the said Ann, and over the person and
property of the children of the said Anti, shall henceforth cease ind
determine: Provided, however, That nothing herein contained shall
be so construed as to prevent the children of the said marriage from
inheriting and transmitting inheritance in the same manner as if
this act had never passed.
Commencement.  0. This act shall be in force from and after the passing thereof.

of Amherst, and James L. Watts, shall be, and the same is hereby
dissolved, the said Lucy forever divorce(] from her husband the said
James L. Watts, and the power and authority of the said .lames L..
over the person and property of the said Lucy, antd over the person
and property of the children of the said Lucy by the marriage afore-
said, shall cease and determine: Provided, however, That nothing
