shall then commence again with their captains, so u to require
every man to do his proportion of patrol duty, and to have a patrol
on duty in each battalion at the same time.

seventy-five cents, to be levied by the court of the county in which
they may reside.

Prathing t    I. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That no slave, free

p4ted,      or otherwise, shall hereafter undertake to preach, exhort or conduct,
or hold any assembly or meeting, for religious or other purpose,

stripes, at the discretion of any justice of the peace, not exceeding
