CHAPTER 13.-An act concerning the corporation of Fredercksburg.

1. Be it enacted, That hereafter it shall be lawful for the Defonm whom the

I. Be it enacted by the General Aissembly, That John G. Catlett, Trustces appoint-
William F. Gray, William S. Quesenberry, Philip Lightfiot, ed.
William Gray and John Summerson, gentlemen, be, and they are
hereby constituted and appointed tru'stees and directors of the
town of Port Royal, in the county of Caroline, and are authorised When to be a-

town shall enter upon the duties of his office, he shall take an oath orolice.

S. Be it further enacted, That the said trustees and their Empowered to

their successors contrary to the constitution or laws of this Com-

4. Be it further enacted, That the said trustees shall have Constable to Ir
power annually to appoint a constable, who shall be paid for his appointed.
