Pension allowed  1. Be it enacted by the GeneraL Assembly, That William Jonee
William Jones. a F'ee mIan of colour of tile county of Spottsylvania, a soldier of
the revolution, who enlisted in the year seventeell hundred and
seventy-seIven, and' continued in service until seventeen hundred
anl eighty, and is now old, poor and infirm, .4hall be placed on
the pension list, and receive sixty dollars annually during his life,
Sum for present ani be paid as other pensioners are paid ; he shall also receive
relief        thirty dollars for his preser.t relief, ant i the Auditor of Public Ac.
counts is hereby authorised and required to issue a warrant on
the treasury, to hint or his representative for the same, to be paid

CIIAPTEIR 10.-An act concerning William Neale and others.
[Passed February 4th, 1826.]
Whereas it is represented to the Genera' Assembly by Wil-
liam  Neale, William  West, Tillinghast Cook and Henderson
Phelps, that they were summoned to attend ii court martial which
convened at Clarksburg in the county of Harrison, in October
eighteen hundred and twenty five, for the trial of James M'Cally,
inspector of the twentieth brigade, as witnesses on behalf of the ac-
cused ; that they lived at considerable distances from Clarksburg,
and in consequence of the court having adjourned much sooner
than was expected, they did not arrive uuntil after its adjourn.
ment, from which cause their attendance w is not entered (in the
records of the court and certified to the auditor, who consequent-
ly, refuses to pay their respective claims:
I. lie it therefore enacted, That the Auditor of Public Ac-
counts be, and he is hereby authorised and required to settle with
the said William Neale, William West, rillinghast Cook, and
HIenderson Phelps, and to issue a warrant on the treasury to them
reslwttively for the amount of their respective claims, to be paid
out of any inoney therein, not otherwise appropriated.
