lor the hiring out any frie negro o%- mulatto aecordliig to tle
provisions of this Act, until sue free negro or mulatto shall
have been first Summtoned to shew cause, if any he or se ca,
against the making such order,

sou shall filsely make, forge or counterfiit, or cause, cowntcrfeitin,
or, proeie to be flalsely tde, tbrged, or cOnnterieited, or ivi]- &c any tebi o
lingly aid or assist in the false making, 'forging or counterfeit- 'iners'- -m-k of
ig, any ill or note of the Farmers' Baink of virginiaA, hereto- Virginia.

defraud either the Corporation of the President, Directors
and Company of the Farers' Bank of Virginia, or any per-
son wl]atsover, or shall pass or tender, or oflier to pass or ex-
change, or shlall eatjse or iroetur to be passed or tendered, or
offer 'to be passed or exchinged, any such bill or note of tile
arlumers' Bank of ,Virginiu, knowing tle same to be false,
florgd. or counterfeited, then, every such person shall be
deemed guilty of relony,- ad oi being thereof hhfuhly eon-
vieted, shall be punished with eonfineinent in the Jail or Peni-
tentiary house, at hard labour, for not less than tell nor more
than twenty yea's.
