CHAPTER 209.
AN ACT to defray the ozpenesor the Geneml Assembly of the State of Tezne-
ac, with L.u ReporL of the Conmmitled ou Financo.
SrrToN 1. Be it cnacted by the General Assembly of the
State of Tennessce, That the Comptroller of the Trea-
sury issue his warrant to each Member of, the Senate
and Hlouse of Representatives, for the sum stated to be
due to each in the annexed report of the Committee on
Finance.
SSkc. 2, Be it enacted. That the Comptroller issue his
warrant to the officers of the Senate and House of He-
presentatives, viz:
To H. K. Walker, nine hundred and thirty dollars for
one hundred and fifty-five dayo eervice as principal
clerk ol the Senate.
To W. A. Steffey, nine hundred and thirty dollars for
one hundred and fifty-five days service as engrossing
clerk of the Senate.
To Brien AI. G. O'Brien, six hundred and twenty dol-
lars for one hundred and fifty-five days service as door-
keeper of the Senate.
To J. B. Jarnigan, six hundred dollars for one hun-
dredand fifty days service as Messenger of the Senate.
To D. R. Claiborne, nine hundred and twelve dollars
for one hundred and fifty two days service as principal
clerk of the Ilouse of Representatives.
To W. Vance Thompson, nine hundred and six dol-
lars for one hundred and fifty-one days services as first
assistant clerk of the House of lepresentatives.
To Frank S. Hale, nine hundred dollars for one hun-
dred and flity days service as engrossing clerk of the
House of lepresentatives.
To 11obert F.. Braden, six hundred dollars for one
hundred and fifty days services as principal door-keeper
of the House of Representatives.
To Anderson Hill, six hundred dollars for one hun-
dred and fifty days service as assistant door-keeper of
the House of Representatives.
To V. A. Glenn, assistant clerk of the House of Re-
presentatives, one hundred and eighty-six dollars.
Scc. 3. Be it ftrther enacted, That the Comptroller
of the Treasury issue his warrant to the following per-
sons for the amount annexed to each of their names
for stationery, coal, &c., &c.
To Jo. G. Brown, for articles per voucher No. 1 5 23 75
Maxey & McUlure,           ,,        2     2 50
Nashville Gas Co.,         ,,        3   425 00
A. H. -licks,             ,,        4    75 30
