CHAPTER CCXVIII.
An Act to defray the expenses of the present session of the General Assembly
with the report of the comnnittee on Finance .nnexed.
('oiiplroller ~ SECTION 1. Be it -enacted, by the General Assembly of the
owarrantt State of Tennessee, That the Comptroller of the Treasury
c.      issue to each member of the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives a warrant for.the sum stated to be due to each in
the annexed Reportof the Committee on Finance.
SEc. 2. Be it enacted, That the comptroller issue to the
officers of the Senate and House of Representatives, war-
rants for the following sums due them for services ren-
dered.
To M. J. Bunch, seven hundred and twenty dollars, for
one hundred and twenty days service as principal clerk of
the House of Representatives.
To E. S. Charlton, seven hundred and twenty dollars, for
one hundred and twenty days service as first assistant clerk
in the House of Representatives.
To W. N. Porter, seven hundred and twenty dollars, for
one hundred and twenty days service as second assistant
clerk in the House of Representatives.
To D. J. Carr, four hundred and eighty dollars, for one
hundred and. twenty days service as principal door-keeper
of the House of Representatives.
To P. M. Hornbeak, four hundred and eighty dollars, for
one hundred and twenty days service as assistant door-
keeperof the House of Representatives.
To G. W. Rice, seven hundred and two dollars, for one
hundred and seventeen days service as principal clerk of
the Senate.
To William H. Warnes, seven hundred and two dollars,
for one hundred and seventeen days service as assistant
clerk of the Senate.
To D. W. Maury, one hundred and sixty-two dollars, for
twenty-seven days service as second assistant clerk to the
Senate.
To Jonas Seaman, four hundred and sixty-eight dollars,
