Be it enacted by ite General Assemnbly of the State of Temncs.-
see, That the Act of 1833, chapter 64, directing ihe Treasu-
rer of the State to pay over to the Treasurer of the Coloniza-
tion Society ten dollars for each frec black person removed t6
the coast of Africa, be and same is herchy repealcd.

SECTo 1. Be it enacted by the Generid Assemidy of the Incorporated
Stale of Tennessee, That the town of Rafidolph in the coun'
6f Tipton, and the inhabitants thereof, he and they are here-
by incorporated under the naine and style of the Mayor aid
Aldermen of the town of Randolph, with the same powers,
rights and privilbges in idl respects as the town of Chatta-
nooga, in the county of Hamilton, by aii act of the Gecerad
Assembly passed bn th6 20th of Deceuimher 1839.
Shie. 2. Be it enabled, That it shall be the duty of the Officers
Sherif of Tiptai county, or. some one under his directions,
to hold an election for Mayor and Aldermen for said town
the fi'st Saturday of January 1844, on the first Saturday in
January in each and every year afterwards; and if from any
